Everyone loves a Jeffrey!!

Jan. 3, 2012, Jeff Adkins life changed when a car turned left in front of him while riding his motorcycle to work. He didn’t have time to stop and suffered a T3 spinal cord injury. He is paralyzed from his nipple line down and now requires a wheelchair to get around. He needs the support of his family/friends during this life changing transition. Roll Model

I signed up to be a mentor to little kids who are in wheelchairs as a "Roll Model" through the HeadNorth program. Today I get to meet my kid! The "Roll Model" group is taking our kids to Sea World today!

This is me and my boy Timmy D! This kid is amazing!

April 11, 2012, Jeff fell backwards in his wheelchair and had to be rushed to the hospital via ambulance. The instant he hit the floor he lost function of his arms and hands. Suffering another major trauma bruising his spinal cord. Fortunately, he didn’t break anything or damage the hardware already in place. This is a MAJOR set back and all of the progress he’s made in the last 3-monts has been lost. He has another big fight ahead of him and he needs to find the strength to do it.
